What is an Unlimited Data Plan?

An Unlimited Data Plan provides unlimited data throughout your plan validity. After reaching the daily high-speed data allowance, the connection speed will be reduced, while internet access will remain available for essential online activities.

How is the experience with speed limits on an Unlimited Plan?

After the high-speed data allowance is used, your speed is reduced to 5 Mbps. This is still fast enough for navigation, messaging, browsing, social media, and video calls, so you can stay connected throughout your trip.

Date calculation rules:

All plan time calculations follow a 24-hour cycle. The validity period begins when the plan is activated, and daily data or speed limits reset every 24 hours from the activation time.

How do installation and activation work?

Install and activate your eSIM within 30 days of receiving the QR code. Your plan starts immediately upon activation, and all validity and data cycles are calculated from that time.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Philippines eSIM is a digital SIM card that allows you to access mobile data without needing a physical SIM. It works with most modern smartphones and provides instant connectivity for your trip to the Philippines.

  • iPhone users: Scan the QR code provided after purchase and follow on-screen instructions in Settings.

  • Android users: Install via QR code or manual profile setup; instructions vary by device model.

  • Install a few days before departure to ensure a stable internet connection. Installation does not activate the plan until roaming is enabled.

You can check your device's compatibility on our eSIM support list. iRoamly supports most dual SIM and eSIM-enabled smartphones.

Yes! You can keep your physical SIM card in your phone and use iRoamly eSIM for data. Make sure to select the iRoamly eSIM as your mobile data source to avoid roaming charges.

Some plans support top-ups. If you run out, simply purchase an add-on plan—no need to reinstall the eSIM. For plans without top-up options, you can buy a new eSIM and install it.

Yes! iRoamly eSIM supports hotspot sharing. In rare cases, device restrictions or system settings may limit hotspot functionality, but 95% of users can share data without issues.

Data needs depend on your usage. Use the iRoamly Data Calculator to select a plan that matches your browsing, streaming, and social media habits.

A Philippines eSIM is more convenient than Pocket WiFi because it's integrated into your phone—no extra device to carry or charge.

The eSIM's validity starts when you enable roaming on your phone after arriving in the Philippines. Installing the eSIM before your trip won't activate it, so your days of usage are preserved.

Most eSIMs allow you to check data usage in the iRoamly app or on our website. For eSIMs that don't support this, contact support@iroamly.com for your balance.

We recommend installing your eSIM a few days before departure. Your phone needs the internet to install it, and airport WiFi may be slow or unreliable. Don't enable roaming until you arrive in the Philippines.

No, iRoamly Philippines eSIM is for data only. For calls and SMS, use messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, or Skype.

After purchase, your eSIM will appear in your account on our website or app, and you'll receive a QR code via email. If you don't receive it within 15 minutes, check your email address or contact support@iroamly.com.

  • Your device is incompatible with the eSIM.
  • You canceled your trip or no longer need the eSIM.
  • You experience connectivity issues that can't be resolved.

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Read our Refund Policy for full details.

Yes! On dual SIM phones, use your physical SIM for calls/SMS and iRoamly eSIM for mobile data. Ensure the correct SIM is selected for data to avoid roaming charges.
