What is an Unlimited Data Plan?

An Unlimited Data Plan provides unlimited data throughout your plan validity. After reaching the daily high-speed data allowance, the connection speed will be reduced, while internet access will remain available for essential online activities.

How is the experience with speed limits on an Unlimited Plan?

After the high-speed data allowance is used, your speed is reduced to 5 Mbps. This is still fast enough for navigation, messaging, browsing, social media, and video calls, so you can stay connected throughout your trip.

Date calculation rules:

All plan time calculations follow a 24-hour cycle. The validity period begins when the plan is activated, and daily data or speed limits reset every 24 hours from the activation time.

How do installation and activation work?

Install and activate your eSIM within 30 days of receiving the QR code. Your plan starts immediately upon activation, and all validity and data cycles are calculated from that time.

Frequently Asked Questions

An Aruba eSIM is a digital SIM that allows you to access mobile data in Aruba without needing a physical SIM card. Simply install it on your device and stay connected while traveling.

Installation differs depending on your device:

  • iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan, scan the QR code, and follow the prompts.

  • Android: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Add Carrier, scan the QR code, and complete the setup.

Installation is quick and secure. Note: Your eSIM won't activate until you enable roaming at your destination.

Most modern smartphones support eSIM. Check your device compatibility on our compatibility list.

Yes! If your phone supports dual SIMs, you can:

  • Keep your primary SIM active for calls and SMS.

  • Use the Aruba eSIM for mobile data.

Ensure you select the eSIM for data to avoid unexpected roaming charges.

We recommend installing your eSIM a few days before departure while connected to the internet. Do not enable roaming until you arrive in Aruba to prevent early activation.

Validity starts when you activate the eSIM in Aruba, not at installation. Once roaming is enabled, your plan countdown begins automatically.

Data requirements vary by usage:

  • Casual browsing, social media, or maps: smaller plans may suffice.

  • Heavy streaming or work: consider larger plans.

Use iRoamly's Data Calculator to select the best plan.

Some plans support add-ons. If yours does: Purchase a top-up—no reinstall required. If your plan does not support add-ons, you can buy a new eSIM and install it easily.

Yes! Most devices support hotspot or tethering with the iRoamly eSIM. In rare cases, device or system restrictions may apply, but 95% of users can share their data without issues.

The Aruba eSIM provides data only and does not include a local phone number. You can still make calls or send messages using apps such as WhatsApp, Zoom, or Telegram.

An eSIM is more convenient than Pocket WiFi:

  • No extra device required.

  • No charging worries.

  • Seamless internet access directly on your phone throughout your Aruba trip.

Most Aruba eSIM plans allow self-checking via the iRoamly app or website under My eSIM. For plans without self-check, contact our support at support@iroamly.com.

Your eSIM is available immediately after purchase.

  • You'll receive a QR code via email.

  • It is also accessible in the iRoamly app.

If you don't see it within 15 minutes, verify your email address or contact support.

Refunds are possible under the following conditions:

  • Your device is incompatible with the eSIM.

  • You cancel your trip or no longer need the eSIM.

  • Network issues persist after following our troubleshooting guide.

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. For full details, see our Refund Policy.
